Rachel Truhlsen
Founder and Managing Attorney
Rachel Truhlsen has been a licensed attorney since 1995. After graduating from law school, Rachel worked for an estate planning firm and a general practice law firm before launching her own estate planning practice in 1997. Over the years, the firm has grown and evolved, guided by Rachel’s passion for service excellence and long-lasting client relationships. Today, Truhlsen Elder Care Law of Nebraska is one of the most respected estate planning and elder law firms in the region, and the only firm in Nebraska to offer Life Care Planning. Founder Rachel Truhlsen is one of the few VA accredited attorneys in Nebraska.

Dylan Dam
Associate Attorney
Associate Attorney Dylan Dam works on a wide variety of estate planning and estate/trust administration matters, including Wills, Financial Powers of Attorney, Health Care Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Revocable Trusts, court filings, and more. A native Nebraskan, Dylan earned a degree in agricultural education from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law. As he began his job search during his senior year of law school, Dylan reached out to Rachel Truhlsen, his parents’ estate planning attorney and a long-time friend of the family. Rachel invited Dylan to join the firm in May 2020. Dylan enjoys the variety of his work, the small-town environment in Blair, and the ability to get to know the firm’s clients.
